New Post: Connect asynchronously

Hi I was wondering if anyone has had any luck connecting to an SSH server asynchronously or if anyone know if this is possible. It works fine if you have the correct credentials, but when you make a typo you get an unhandled exception. I have tried the "new" async and the "old" background worker. No luck. I have a slow connection and would like to show a progress bar while connecting to the server.
Any help would be appreciated.
